About the Process
Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) are generated during high-temperature combustion and are among the primary contributors to air pollution. PH1’s SNCR-based DeNOx System injects a reducing agent such as Ammonia (NH₃) or Urea into the flue gas stream within the optimum temperature window. The reagent reacts with NOx to convert it into harmless nitrogen and water vapor, providing an efficient and cost-effective emission control solution without the use of catalysts.
Secondary shredders, also known as fine shredders, operate after primary shredding and material separation to deliver controlled, uniform particle sizes for RDF, SRF, recycling, and waste-to-energy applications. They refine pre-shredded material into consistent fuel fractions, improving calorific value, handling efficiency, and downstream process stability.
